Carrie Underwood plans to stay on the road a little longer.
In addition to her current tour dates, Carrie has added 40 more dates to her Blown Away Tour, extending all the way to late spring of 2013.
The new dates, which begin February 13 in Colorado, still feature Hunter Hayes as opening act. They will now bring the total number of shows on the tour to more than 100.
Note that as with her current set of dates, $1 from each ticket sold will support the American Red Cross disaster relief (proceeds from her Canadian concerts will be donated to the Canadian Red Cross).
Hunter Hayes took to Twitter today, to share his thoughts on the extended tour run:
Hey, so guess what!? Miss @carrieunderwood just called and it looks like we’re gonna be pretty busy on her 2013 BLOWN AWAY TOUR!!!

And while Carrie fans got a nice gift in the form of these new live dates, Carrie herself got a cool surprise today as well. Hers came from the kids at PS22, who unveiled a new cover of Carrie’s recent Number One song.
Carrie was, as you might imagine, ‘blown away.’
So cool! Love these kiddos! Thanks @ps22chorus for making my day! You guys are so amazingly talented! youtube.com/watch?v=3goBDy…
