B&C Morning Show: Bay's Buyout, Nets' Blowout And An Eli-Coughlin Sitdown

Mets fans rejoice!

The Jason Bat 'era' - which began back in 2010 -  officially came to an end yesterday when the organization elected to buy out the remainder of his contract, making Bay a free agent -- and making Mets fans very happy.

Two such happy Mets fans host a radio show right here in New York, known as simply Boomer & Carton.  Today this Dynamic Radio Duo opened up their program talking about Bay's departure and commended the organization for giving their fan base what they've wanted for a long time.

Now speculation about the futures of both R.A. Dickey and David Wright take center-stage, that is for those who actually care about such things.

The Nets played their first game away from their new home in Brooklyn, as Avery Johnson's bunch made their way to South Beach to take on the Heat.  Things clearly did not go as planned, as the Nets were manhandled by the Heat, losing by 30 (103-73).  Craig declared that despite the Brooklyn across their chests, these are still the New Jersey Nets until further notice.

The guys finished things off talking about the Giants, who are busy preparing to take on the Bengals in Cincinnati.  Coming off a couple of sub-par performances, Eli Manning sat down with his head coach tom Coughlin with the hopes of getting back to basics...
