Police Search For Young Teenage Boy Who Groped Woman In Central Park

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are searching for a young teenage boy who groped a woman as she jogged through the north end of Central Park late last week.

At 8:20 p.m. Friday, the 24-year-old woman was jogging through the park near 110th Street and Seventh Avenue, when she was stopped by five teenage boys, police said. The boys asked the woman for a kiss, police said.

The boy accused of groping the woman is described as a black male between the ages of 12 and 14, standing 5 feet 5 inches tall with large front teeth, wearing a light gray hoodie and a backpack.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD Crime Stoppers hotline at (800) 577-TIPS, go to the Crime Stoppers Web site, or text tips to 274637 (CRIMES) and enter TIP577.
