Jerry Recco’s first update of the morning was a good one, and after hearing a little about some of Al Dukes’ issues he was able to get started.

Jerry began things with the Jets, as Mark Sanchez talked about the faith he has in Rex Ryan and Rex’s faith in him – which made Craig feel just great as a Jets fan.  As far as the other quarterback in the mix, Boomer made it crystal clear that he believes ‘Woody Johnson is 100 percent the reason (Tim) Tebow is here’ – going on to say that it could not have been a football decision.

Moving right along, the Steelers eked out a 16-13 overtime win over the Chiefs on Monday Night Football, but lost their quarterback in the process.  Ben Roethlisberger left the game with a right shoulder injury and will undergo further tests today.  Boomer was on the radio call alongside his ever descriptive partner in the booth, Kevin Harlon – who we got to hear do his thing.

Carmelo Anthony is happy Mike D’Antoni got another job and the Knicks will look to improve on their 4-0 mark tonight against the Magic in Orlando, Bryce Harper was named NL Rookie of the Year, while Mike Trout takes home the hardware in the AL and gets just a $10,000 bonus for doing so…
