New York City Opening Seven Restoration Centers To Help Those Impacted By Sandy

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Many New Yorkers are still struggling to get basic services like power and heat back two weeks after superstorm Sandy.

For those who have been fortunate enough to have power and heat restored, there are still a wide variety of needs yet to be met.

To help, Mayor Michael Bloomberg announced Tuesday the city is launching "NYC Restore," including seven "Restoration Centers" offering assistance with a variety of services.
