B&C Morning Show: Rex Greeted With Silence; Dickey Rewarded With Hardware

Based on Shonn Greene's comments regarding the Jets needing a change, Craig offers a suggestion as far as the RB's playing time moving forward is concerned.

After that Jerry Recco began his update with the low-hanging fruit, which this morning was green and white, and had a head coach named Rex.

Rex Ryan began his media session yesterday undoubtedly prepared to deal with backlash from the reports of unrest in the Jets locker room, only to be met with silence, as the gathered media apparently got a little gun shy.  Rex did eventually speak, expressing disgust and a need for accountability.

Tim Tebow is just going to try and be the best teammate he can be, while Mark Sanchez has seen this song and dance before.  As for Bart Scott and Antonio Cromartie, they were called out by former teammate LaDainian Tomlinson, but failed to offer any comment on the situation.  All the while, Rex Ryan thinks this entire fiasco will serve as a bonding tool, saying he sees his team getting closer because of this.

Plus, in an effort to protect his vulnerable aorta, Ben Roethlisberger will not play Sunday against the Ravens.  After posting a 20-6 record for a team that won a grand total of 74 games, R.A. Dickey wins the NL Cy Young Award.  The Knicks will be back in action tonight looking to improve to 6-0 against the Spurs in San Antonio and the Nets will welcome the Celtics to Brooklyn...
