After we learned anonymous Jets players and personnel had offered some harsh criticism of Tim Tebow, Rex Ryan reacted and addressed the situation.

Boomer and Craig opened up today’s radio program once again talking about the ‘soap opera’ that is the New York Jets, specifically about the fallout from the piece in yesterday’s NY Daily News beat writer Manish Mehta, which got this chapter of the story started.

The obvious questions now pop up — who said it and where, when was it said. Additionally, Mehta comes under fire.

No matter how he looks at it, Craig can’t help but come to the same conclusion, his beloved Jets — the entire organization from top to bottom — is a joke.

With all of this taking place, select Jets – including Mark Sanchez –  have been seen sporting a new T-shirt which reads – ‘We Will Persist.’  And that about says it all.

Speaking of persistence, Mets 38-year-old knuckleballer R.A. Dickey won the NL Cy Young Award yesterday, providing a bright spot in an otherwise dreary season for the ‘Not So Amazins.’  Boomer, who ‘openly lobbied for Dickey’ all season long, was understandably happy to see him take home the hardware…
