Police: 2 Men Pose As Electricians, Rob & Punch 90-Year-Old Man In Queens Home

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD is looking for two men who posed as electricians and broke into the home of an elderly man in Queens.

On Tuesday, Nov. 13, two men went to the home of a 90-year-old man near Queens Boulevard claiming to be electricians. The suspects told the victim they needed to survey the location for any problems, according to police.

Once inside, the suspects stole money and jewelry from the victim. They then punched him as he attempted to prevent them from leaving, police said.

The victim got a black eye in the attack but did not request any further medical attention.
