3 People Shot In Unionport, The Bronx
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Three people were shot Sunday night in the Unionport section of the Bronx.
Police told 1010 WINS the shooting happened around 7:15 p.m. near Westchester Avenue and Unionport Road.
The R.G. Ortiz Funeral Home is located nearby at 2121 Westchester Ave., and the 4-5-6 elevated subway line runs overhead.
The victims – two men ages 56 and 33, and a 23-year-old woman – were taken to Jacobi Medical Center, police said.
Their conditions were not immediately learned, but their injuries were not considered life-threatening.
