B&C Morning Show: Updating An Eventful Weekend
Jerry Recco’s first update of the morning began with a thorough recap of the Jets’ 27-13 win over the Rams. After the victory Rex Ryan addressed his team and used some profanity while doing so. If Bart Scott had his way, no member of the Jets would have talked with the media. But Scott didn’t get his way, instead he received a ‘memo’ from Craig regarding his behavior.
After the win, Gang Green’s fourth of the season, Boomer is starting to think about a ‘December to remember.’ Next up for the Jets, the Patriots – who smashed-out the Colts 54-19, but lost tight end Rob Gronkowski to a broken forearm in the process – at MetLife Stadium on Thanksgiving night.
Jerry ran down the rest of the NFL scoreboard for Week 11, which will conclude tonight in San Francisco when the Bears and the 49ers battle it out. Texans QB Matt Schaub lead his team to a 43-37, OT victory over the Jags and in the process joined Boomer in the NFL record book.
