Miranda Lambert To Kick Off 'Pink Friday' At New Retail Shop, 'The Pink Pistol'

Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton may not be ready for kids, but they are ready to take one giant leap in their lives.

Miranda is officially the owner of a retail shop called The Pink Pistol. But don’t let the name fool you. This Pistol Annies’ gal isn’t going to be selling pink guns. She will, however, be selling all of her favorite country accessories.

“It's antiques, gifts, boots, jeans and pretty much everything you can imagine,” announced Lambert on her Facebook page. “My favorite thing in the store is a glittery pink bicycle hanging from the ceiling. I'm really 12 at heart.”

All items to be sold in the store are also handpicked by Lambert, so if she’s your idol, this store is worth visiting. Miranda’s favorite eclectic, antique decorator friends the Junk Gypsy’s were on hand for the ribbon cutting ceremony!

Located in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, The Pink Pistol will open its doors for the first time the day after Thanksgiving on Black Friday, though the star is calling it her “Pink Friday.” She has created a new Facebook page to keep her fans and new shoppers informed:

“We're going to turn the block pink every year at that time,” wrote Lambert. “Pink Friday will be country fun with some glitz. Tishomingo is the epitome of a great, small American town, and I am excited to dress it in my favorite color ‘pink.’” Guess when a girl goes hunting with lip gloss and her pink cup, she’s telling the truth!

The store’s symbol is a gun with wings, and Lambert revealed the store itself is "For The Wild at Heart."

Don’t even think about that five-finger-discount, if you want to protect your reputation and be out of jail in time for Christmas. She has thought of everything. Miranda handwritten note reads: ATTN: ALL Shoplifters will be prosecuted and tweeted about. I have over 1.5 million followers.  Thanks, Miranda"

Making her store truly wild, in addition to decorating the street pink for “Pink Friday,” Lambert is also hosting the 1st Annual Pink Pistol Princess Pageant, a Pink-aoke for everyone to sing their favorite songs, as well as marching bands.

Let the Pink Friday fun begin.
