NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Holiday traditions like Black Friday and Cyber Monday are about what you can get, but Tuesday kicks off a new tradition — about what you can give.

TV 10-55′s Alex Denis & the Mobile Couch hit Bryant Park to fill us in on “Giving Tuesday” with special guest, John Legend.

The idea is to get people exciting about giving, the same way they might get excited about purchasing that new flat screen at a discounted priced.
