B&C Morning Show: Did The Mets Make The 'Wright' Move? More Jets Embarrassment

Thanks to the top-notch reporting of WFAN's own Eddie Coleman, we awoke this morning to the news that David Wright has re-signed with the Mets for a reported seven-year, $122 million deal.

Needless to say, Boomer & Craig made the decision to open today's radio program talking about the decision to make Wright the highest-paid player in Mets history (surpassing his teammate Johan Santana), and what it might mean for the club moving forward, specifically the future of R.A. Dickey.

Moving right along to the Jets, their offensive line coach Dave DeGuglielmo spoke with the media and commented on the situation at right guard, which has been handled by a committee of Matt Slauson and Vladimir Ducasse this season. DeGuglielmo's remarks were a subtle reminder of why we rarely hear from him, and how deep the Jets' problems are actually rooted.

In addition to all of that, Rutgers had a chance to win the Big East last night against Louisville, but failed to do so.  The Scarlet Knights fell to the Cardinals, 20-17 , finishing the regular season on a two-game losing streak and with a 9-3 record...
