NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Say it ain’t so, Ralphie-Boy.

A new 60 Minutes/Vanity Fair poll finds that more Americans think “Seinfeld” is the greatest sitcom.

The poll asked respondents to choose between “Seinfeld,” “The Honeymooners,” “Friends,” “Cheers,” “Arrested Development,” “Mary Tyler Moore,” and “30 Rock.”

Twenty-two percent said that “Seinfeld” was tops. “The Honeymooners” came in second place, with 20 percent.

The poll touts the performance of “The Honeymooners,” however, pointing out that it ran over 55 years ago for basically one year and 39 original episodes.

“America is saying, ‘baby you’re the greatest,’” says a message on the poll’s website.
