B&C Morning Show: Opening It Up
The Knicks overcame a lackluster performance in Charlotte to beat the Bobcats 100-98, thanks to a game-winning jump shot courtesy of J.R. Smith. Carmelo Anthony left the game late in the fourth quarter due to a cut on his left finger – which required five stitches to close – and is now a questionable for tonight’s game in Miami against the Heat.
Boomer and Craig got things going this morning, breaking down the Knicks’ thrilling victory in Charlotte and their upcoming tilt down in South Beach – which Boomer is calling a ‘barometer game,’ while Craig says if Melo doesn’t play the game means nothing. We shall see.
Then it was on to the Yankees, as Craig did his best to make his beloved Bombers a sympathetic figure (so to speak) in regard to their fiscally responsible plan moving forward. Classic case of ‘damned if ya do, damned if ya don’t.’
The Jets’ brouhaha continues following Rex Ryan’s decision to start Mark Sanchez, a so-called ‘madam’ from the Upper East Side keeps quiet in jail but now plans to spill the beans on some of her high-profile clients with ties to the NFL. Hmmmm.
All of that and, oh yeah, the Giants will host the Saints on Sunday and are perhaps just a little too happy to be facing Drew Brees rather than Robert Griffin III…
