2 In The Kitchen: Pork Chops Creole

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Chef Alonso Tello of Casa Havana in Chelsea stopped by the CBS 2 studios to show us a quick and easy dish that can be made with just one pan.

PORK CHOPS CREOLE

  • 2 center cut pork chops
  • 1/2 green and red peppers
  • 1 plum tomato
  • 1/2 red onion
  • 3 sprigs of cilantro
  • 3 oz white wine
  • 1 cup chicken broth

Saute pork chops till they’re golden brown in 2 tsp. virgin olive oil. Discard oil.

In same pan with pork chops, saute diced peppers, onions, tomato and cilantro with chicken broth. Simmer for twenty minutes. Transfer to plate and enjoy!
