Before Jerry Recco got started with his update, Craig reiterated an idea from the open which was sure to rile up the legions of loyal Giants fans.

Then Jerry got things started with the Giants and their 52-27 win over the Saints.  Following the game, Eli Manning talked about David Wilson’s big night, as the rookie scattered his name all over the stat sheet.  Craig couldn’t help but think of the fictional ‘Forrest Gump’ upon hearing Eli’s praise for his rookie teammate.

Justin Tuck clearly got joy out of defeating Drew Brees for the first time, while Antrel Rolle saw ‘a lot of dog out there’ and liked it.

The Jets managed to beat the Jaguars 17-10 in Jacksonville and afterward Bart Scott was not interested in talking about the playoffs, despite the Jets still being alive in the hunt.

Plus, Jerry ran down the rest of the NFL scoreboard and we were treated to some post game audio of Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin, who according to Craig, ‘is a man and eats meat.’  The Knicks got Carmelo Anthony back and his 34 points helped the Knicks remain a perfect 8-0 at home after a 112-106 win overt the Nuggets.  The Nets lost to the Bucks 97-88 at Barclays Center and according to Kris Humphries, balls slipping through one’s hands can be a problem on the basketball court.  Finally some MLB news, as the Rays trade James Shields to the Royals, the Dodgers continue to spend like the Yankees used to and Craig is not giving up on his dream of Josh Hamilton signing a deal with the Bombers this offseason…
