NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Transportation Security Administration agents stopped a Bronx man after making a shocking discovery at John F. Kennedy International Airport Friday.

They say the man had a stash of 26 stun guns in his checked luggage.

Stun guns are illegal to possess in New York.

The man was set to fly to the Dominican Republic. Instead, Port Authority Police arrested him.

The TSA reminds passengers they are responsible for items in their bags.
