Jets Defensive End Mike DeVito: 'I Have No Doubt' We Can Run The Table
NEW YORK (WFAN) - The Jets have suddenly -- out of seemingly nowhere -- thrust themselves into the AFC playoff picture.
Such a scenario would have been unthinkable after Week 12, when the Jets were slaughtered by the Patriots on Thanksgiving night to fall to 4-7.
But since then Gang Green has won two straight -- albeit won ugly against bottom-tier teams -- and have gotten some help around them. As the Jets enter Week 15, they sit just a game behind the Bengals and the Steelers for the sixth and final playoff spot in the AFC.

The Jets will certainly have to win their remaining three games to make the postseason, and even if they do they are not guaranteed a spot in the tournament.
But with a struggling offense that has been lacking explosiveness since Week 1, can the Jets really win out?
Defensive end Mike DeVito is sure of it.
"Without a doubt (we can win these last three games)," DeVito told WFAN co-hosts Joe Benigno and Evan Roberts in his weekly spot on Tuesday. "The locker room is so confident, guys are so confident. Guys are really banding together and working together, and I just feel that there has been no letdown at all this season through the ups and downs. Guys have been continuing to work hard; continuing to play hard, practice hard, prepare hard."
The remaining games on the Jets' schedule are all very winnable. New York will head to Tennessee to take on the Titans on Monday night before returning home to host the Chargers at MetLife Stadium.
The regular season will conclude at Ralph Wilson Stadium against the division-rival Bills, who the Jets demolished, 48-28, in the season opener.
"I have no doubt that we can win these three games," DeVito said, "and then we'll see wherever the chips fall."
