Braylon Edwards called the Jets’ management ‘idiots’ last week.

Then he landed with the team on Tuesday, which in a weird way makes perfect sense.

Another thing that makes sense — Ichiro Suzuki re-signing with the Yankees, which we have learned he will do. Thanks to Craig, who ‘broke’ the story at the start of the show.  Keeping it going with the baseball, R.A. Dickey apparently feels slighted by the Mets’ reported three-year, $25 million offer and he let this be known at the team’s holiday party.

One might say Dickey’s timing was a little suspect and Craig was one such person.  With that in mind, Craig imagined Dickey playing the role of Santa Claus. Actually make that Dickey playing the role of a peeved Santa Claus.

With baseball out of the way, we heard all about the Knicks’ come-from-behind win over the Nets last night in Brooklyn, where Carmelo Anthony recognized the moment.  Afterward head coach Mike Woodson was feeling pretty good about his club.
