EAST MORICHES, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) - This is a big week for Christmas trees. It’s when most people head out to get their trees.
WCBS 880 Long Island Bureau Chief Mike Xirinachs On The Story
“It’s within 10 to 11 days of Christmas and everybody wants their tree up,” said Mary, who runs the Stables Garden Center in East Moriches.
Seven to eight-foot trees are the most popular, with pricing from $20 for the smallest two-footer and rising with size of the tree.
May says you should go get them while they’re hot.
“Don’t wait until Christmas Eve to buy your tree. You’re not gonna have the selection,” she said.
But Mary added that your imagination and decorations determine the ultimate beauty of the tree.
Have you bought your tree? How have you decorated it? Sound off below.
