Connecticut Infoline Open For Those In Need And Those Who Want To Help

NEWTOWN, Conn. (CBSNewYork) -- Connecticut State Police are asking anyone who wishes to assist the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre and their families to contact the state's 211 Infoline.

Any victims or residents in need of assistance should also call the infoline, state police said.

Assistance now available includes victims' aid agencies, counselors, religious and ministry services, dog therapy, transportation services, and assorted other goods and services.

The line is prepared to accept all offers and assist anyone I need, state police said.
