It’s the perfect recipe for a dreary winter day.

Stephanie Tantillo visited The Couch to prepare an Italian holiday soup.

Ingredients:

Pastina
chicken stock
parsley
carrots
1 egg

Method:

Cook the stock with the carrots, when it’s boiling add the pasta and keep it on a high boil..add spinach and parm cheese at the end. Crack the egg into the pot and whisk it very quickly to cook the egg with the pastina – add parsley and it’s an Italian Christmas soup.
