Giants' Canty Suffers Sprained MCL

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - If the Giants' 33-14 loss to Ravens wasn't painful enough, Chris Canty suffered a sprained MCL during Sunday's defeat.

It's the same injury that forced Canty to miss the first six games of the season has struck again.   Knee issues have plagued the 30-year-old's fourth season as a Giant.

It's unclear whether Canty will miss New York's regular season finale against the Eagles.  If Canty can't go, Linval Joseph and Rocky Bernard will start alongside one another at defensive tackle.

Eagles' starting quarterback Nick Foles broke his right hand against the Redskins.  Michael Vick is expected to start for Philadelphia.

How badly do the Giants need Canty to suit up against the Eagles?  Share your thoughts below...
