NEW YORK (AP) - Mayor Michael Bloomberg says he’ll be joined by the high-kicking Rockettes for the Times Square crystal ball drop on New Year’s Eve.

Bloomberg made the announcement Friday during his weekly radio show.

Last year, Bloomberg shared a kiss with Lady Gaga, who assisted him in the countdown to midnight.

He says he’ll “have to figure out how” to kiss all the Rockettes.

The mayor says he traditionally takes whoever helps him with the ball drop to a bar for a few drinks afterward.

He wondered out loud whether he could take all the Rockettes. His radio co-host replied: “Absolutely. You’re the mayor.”

Bloomberg said the bar owner would be thrilled.

The Rockettes are celebrating their 85th anniversary this year.
