After Craig declared that Bill Cowher is the cure for the Jets, a loyal listener named Anthony called in from Belleville with a serious concern. Anthony is worried that if Cowher does return to the sideline, he might bring Boomer and the rest of the gang from CBS’s NFL Today with him.
It didn’t sound as if Boomer planned on going anywhere, but Anthony’s phone call did spawn an interesting conversation, which included Craig being compared to King Solomon by “the’”Eddie Scozzare. Super Heroes and some of their inadequacies — here’s lookin’ at you Batman — were also discussed, as this segment took on a life of it’s own…
