With Rex Ryan avoiding the media by vacationing with his wife in the Bahamas, Boomer and Craig were forced to speculate on the Jets’ uncertain future — specifically if ‘Sexy Rexy’ is in Woody Johnson’s plans for the team.

As the layers are peeled back, it’s starting to seem like there is no ‘plan’ to speak of currently in place, which just adds to the soap opera that is the Jets.  All signs point to Rex returning to the sidelines – but the Jets as a whole are currently in a state of limbo and nothing at all is certain.

One thing that’s certain is Ray Lewis will retire at season’s end, putting a cap on his 17-year NFL career — all with the Baltimore Ravens.  Lewis made his plans public yesterday and then predictably dominated the news cycle for the rest of the day.  Craig is curious as to why little mention of Lewis’ involvement in a murder case — stemming from an incident which occurred back on January 31, 2000, in Atlanta following the Super Bowl — was included in the extensive coverage…
