Fatal Shooting, Stabbing Outside Queens Lounge Under Investigation

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - One man is dead and another has been hospitalized following incidents early Sunday morning outside of a Richmond Hill, Queens night club, according to police.

Police responded to a 911 call to Flavor Lounge at 117-03 Hillside Avenue around 3:30 Sunday morning. When officers arrived, they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso.

Kwasi Olatunji, 36, of Brooklyn was taken to Jamaica Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Police at the scene also noticed a 27-year-old man was a stab wound to the leg. He was taken to Jamaica Hospital where he was listed in stable condition.

The man was stabbed with a broken bottle during a separate fight, police sources told the New York Post.

Police have not made any arrests in either incident.

An investigation is ongoing.
