B&C Morning Show: Melo Gets Mad, Notre Dame Gets Overwhelmed & Jets To Face The Music

Boomer & Craig got things going this morning by talking about the Knicks' 102-96 loss to the Celtics last night at the Garden. Carmelo Anthony had a horrid shooting night, finishing 6-for-26, and after the game he tried to track down Kevin Garnett for a little fist-a-cuffs, waiting for him at the Celtics' team bus.

Craig loves the intensity Melo displayed and loves the old-school, physical style of play -- albeit in a loss. It was a bad loss, considering the Celts were without the services of Rajon Rondo, who was serving a one-game suspension.

Despite the setback, Craig is still confident in his Knickerbockers. Boomer is looking forward to the return of Raymond Felton and is still pining for the days of "Linsanity." There is good news for Knicks fans, though.Word is that Iman Shumpert is close to returning pretty soon, which is music to Craig's ears, as he declared that "when the Knicks are healthy, the Celtics can't hold their jock."

Alabama blew out an overwhelmed Notre Dame team, 42-14, to win their second straight BCS National Championship (Bama's 3rd in four years). Rex Ryan, along with Woody Johnson, will meet the media later today at Florham Park, which is sure to be an entertaining spectacle...
