Plenty Of Subway Service Changes On Tap For The Weekend

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — If you planning to take the subway this weekend, there are plenty of changes that you should be aware of.

The service changes, some of which will take effect late Friday night, will affect the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, A, C, F, G, J, M, Q and S lines.

Some of the changes include the following:

  • Manhattan-bound 1 trains skip 238th, 231st and 225th streets
  • No. 4 trains between Atlantic Ave-Barclays Center and Utica Avenue/New Lots Avenue
  • No. 7 trains between Queensboro Plaza and Times Square-42nd Street
