BOHEMIA, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) — A woman was left in critical condition this week after a fire broke out in the Suffolk County apartment complex where she lived.

The fire broke out in an apartment at 40 Middleton Rd. in Bohemia around 5:30 a.m. Friday, Suffolk County police said.

The 71-year-old woman who lived in the apartment was taken to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore, where she was listed in critical condition.
