Help Pick Official Colors For New LED Tower Lights On Empire State Building

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Are you seeing red?

If not, you soon will be.

The Empire State Building will shine in four different shades of  red Monday night as part of its week-long lightings to determine the official standard colors for its new LED tower lights.

Each evening from sunset to 2 a.m., January 14-20, the top of the building will display four shades each of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple and pink, one color per night.

You can vote for your favorite shade of red tonight on Facebook and every other color this week.

If you're in the NYC area, you're invited to look up at the colors each evening and cast your vote on Facebook.

The colors will also be displayed on the ESB's Facebook page for fans around the world -- who are also invited to vote.

The final seven selected colors will be announced the week of January 21, 2013.

Do you plan on voting for your favorite color? Let us know below.
