NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A Nassau County middle school was evacuated Wednesday because of a threatening note found in the school.
At around 9:30 a.m., a note was found in a bathroom at Seaford Middle School indicating some type of threat, police said.
The school is located at 3940 Sunset Ave.
The school was evacuated for a few hours while police searched the building.
The school was later deemed safe by police and students returned to class.
The incident is under investigation.
