Mets Ink Feliciano To Minor League Deal

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - The New York Mets announced on Monday that they've brought back former lefty reliever Pedro Feliciano on a minor league deal.  It includes an invitation to spring training.

He's impressed Mets scouts by performing well in the Puerto Rican league this winter.  He formerly pitched for the Mets between 2002 and 2010.

The Yankees were dealt a blow of bad luck when they signed Feliciano to a two-year deal in 2011.  Feliciano never took the mound for the Yankees after suffering a torn capsule in his left shoulder and required rotator-cuff surgery.

In eight seasons as a Met, Feliciano recorded a 3.31 ERA and in 372.1 innings.

Mets fans, are you happy to see Feliciano back?  Let us know...
