NEW YORK (WLNY) – First lady Michelle Obama catapulted young New York designer Jason Wu into the spotlight yet again Monday night.

Mrs. Obama wowed the crowds at the inaugural ball, wearing a full-length velvet and chiffon halter dress by the 26-year-old designer.

She chose chose the same designer who custom-made her gown for her first Inaugural Ball in 2009. Jason Wu became an overnight sensation at the age of 26.
