NYC Sanitation Worker Charged With DWI

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A New York City sanitation worker was arrested this weekend and charged with driving while intoxicated.

Department of Sanitation employee Thomas Gruber, 36, was arrested in the 33rd Precinct, which includes the Washington Heights section of Manhattan, police said, at 3:02 p.m. Saturday.

He was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving with ability impaired, and refusing to take a breathalyzer test.

Police did not release further details Sunday.
