Report: Arnott Is Not Coming To New York
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Just about 24 hours ago, news broke that the New York Rangers recalled forward Benn Ferriero from Connecticut of the AHL and have signed forward Jason Arnott to provide veteran depth at center.
Now, according to a report on ESPNNewYork.com, the tentative one-year deal worth about $1.6 million is off the table after Arnott was not cleared by team doctors.
Last night Arnott flew to New York to meet with team doctors, but has since left New York and the Rangers have not provided a explanation for why Arnott was not cleared.
