MORRIS PLAINS, N.J. (CBSNewYork) — A husband and wife were found shot to death Monday inside their home in Morris Plains, N.J., in what was reportedly suspected to be a murder-suicide.

Police were called around 10 a.m. to Medford Road in Morris Plains, after receiving a call that Chester Andraka, 46, did not show up for work.

Investigators discovered his body inside the home with that of his wife – Rosaria Andraka, 43 – who also worked at Fairleigh Dickinson.

Police said they were not searching for a suspect.

Published reports described Chester Andraka as a former Caldwell, N.J., police officer who most recently had been an adjunct instructor at Fairleigh Dickinson.

Rosaria Andraka was an honors program administrator at the university, according to an NJ.com report.
