B&C Morning Show: Are Knicks Championship-Caliber?; Super Bowl Hype Amps Up, Brotherly Love

The Knicks narrowly defeated the Hawks last night, thanks to a memorable 42-point performance from Carmelo Anthony, which included nine threes (tying a Knicks record).

When the final horn sounded it was a 106-104 win for the 27-15 Knicks -- a record good for second in the Eastern Conference behind only the Heat (28-13), a team they've beaten twice this season.

With all of that said, Boomer thinks the Knicks are soft and not a championship-caliber team by a long shot.  Craig on the other hand wasn't feeling the negative vibe his radio partner was throwing out, saying the Knicks could still capture the No. 1 seed in the East and that Melo is good enough to carry this team to the Finals.

I guess only time will tell.

In relation to the Harbaugh brothers squaring off on Sunday in Super Bowl XLVII, Craig tells about the competitive relationship he had with his brother as a child, and the role his parents played in the 'brotherly love.'

And Jerry Recco is in New Orleans without Internet service and is apparently surrounded by a lot of unsavory women (and men)...
