Fastrack Repairs To Cause Disruptions On N, Q And R Lines This Week
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) — If you use New York City Transit late at night or in the early morning hours, you may need to adjust your travel route this week.
For the next four nights, N, Q, and R service in Manhattan will be shut down for repairs from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Transit officials said the service disruption will begin Monday and end Friday.
The subway repair is part of the MTA’s Fastrack program.
Customers should use the following travel alternatives:
- Use nearby stations on the 8th Avenue (A, E), 7th Avenue (1, 2) 6th Avenue (D, F, Q) and Lexington Avenue (4, 6) lines instead.
- Take the 7 Train for service between Queens and Manhattan.
- Make key transfers between services at Queensboro Plaza (7, N), 5th Avenue/42nd Street-Bryant Park (7, D, F, Q), Jay Street-MetroTech (A, F, N), and Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center (2, 4, D, N, Q).
