Police Release Surveillance Clip Of Man Who Tried To Lure Teenage Girls

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police have released surveillance video of a man wanted for luring teenage girls in Queens.

The man was suspected in two incidents, both of them this past Friday.

In the morning, the man, driving a Cadillac Escalade, pulled up alongside a 13-year-old girl on Northern Boulevard near 102nd Street in Woodside, and began trying to chat with her. As the girl walked away, the man exited the vehicle and attempted to grab her by the arm.

The victim pulled away and fled the location.

That night the man allegedly approached a 14-year-old girl in the vicinity of Northern Boulevard and Parsons Boulevard in Flushing. The man followed the girl and motioned for her to approach the vehicle, she fled the location.

Police on Tuesday released surveillance video from the first incident.

The suspect has been described as being Hispanic and light-skinned, between 5 feet 7 and 5 feet 9 inches tall, and weighing about 170 pounds.
