B&C Morning Show: More Bad Press For A-Rod And Ray Lewis

The crew is down in New Orleans for the Super Bowl, and Boomer is not in a good mood.

It only took about three hours for Craig and Al to get on his nerves with their shenanigans on Bourbon Street. To make matters worse, the captain of his beloved Rangers injured his shoulder last night. Without question those are the two biggest stories in Mr. Esiason's world, however for the rest of the country Alex Rodriguez and the Ray Lewis bombshells dominated the back pages this morning.

A-Rod admitted he used PEDs from 2001 to 2003. In this latest scandal however, the three-time AL MVP reportedly bought HGH and other performance-enhancing drugs from an anti-aging clinic in Coral Cables, Fla. Craig says Alex once again has embarrassed the Yankee brand and the team would love for him to go away.

Could it be possible that we have seen the last of A-Rod in a Yankee uniform?

The Bombers third baseman wasn't the only big name to make waves yesterday. File this under the category of totally bizarre. We all know Ray Lewis is no stranger to negative headlines during SB week. The future Hall of Famer hurt his triceps in the middle of the year and many thought he would not return to the field.

However, the former Hurricane proved everyone wrong when he stepped between the lines in the playoffs against the Colts. Yesterday, we found out that he may have had a little help -- apparently spraying deer antler extract helped his injury heal faster. Come get some!

We are not even halfway through the week and it's already been very bizarre. What will happen next? Stay tuned…
