VIDEO: NYPD Looking For Pair Of Suspects In Violent Manhattan Robbery

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are hoping surveillance video will lead to the arrest of two suspects wanted in a violent mugging.

Authorities said the incident happened on Jan. 24 around 10 p.m. in Morningside Heights.

The female victim was walking on Riverside Drive when two male suspects approached her from behind and forcefully robbed her.

Both suspects fled the scene northbound on Riverside Drive then eastbound on West 125 Street toward Broadway.

The victim, police said, was not injured.

The first suspect is described as a Hispanic man with a light skin complexion who is in his mid to late teens, approximately 5-foot-7 and 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue winter coat, blue jeans and white sneakers.

The second suspect is described by authorities as a black male with a medium skin complexion who is in his mid to late teens, approximately 5-foot-8 and 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue winter coat, blue ski cap and tan cargo pants.
