B&C Morning Show: Knicks Do Not Believe In Magic
The guys are back at it again down in the Big Easy, and they are pumped up for two reasons. First and foremost it's Craig's birthday!!! Boomer gave his best wishes to his best buddy as the show kicked off.
Moving along, Carmelo Anthony set a Knicks franchise record with his 30th straight 20-point game. Melo has been taking a ton of shots, but this is still a tremendous accomplishment for the New York native. B&C were both very impressed with how well Carmelo, Amar'e and Tyson Chandler played when they were all on the floor last night. However, it is important to keep in mind that they played the dreadful Magic.
And then there are the Nets. Brooklyn was on a role, but they have hit the skids recently. There is no shame in losing to the Heat, to be fair. They are the defending champs, despite what Reggie Evans says.
The biggest story yesterday from New Orleans was the derogatory comments made by 49ers CB Chris Culliver. What was even more absurd was his "apology."
"The derogatory comments I made yesterday were a reflection of thoughts in my head, but they are not how I feel," said Culliver.
Say what?!?!?!
