NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Sexy met smart during Sunday’s night’s Super Bowl, and it was all part of a commercial kiss in an ad for GoDaddy.com.

Some might say that actor Jesse Heiman had the biggest score of the night, but others aren’t ready to put the play under further review just yet.

“I just thought it was gross. I was like I don’t want to see it,” Jennifer Valdez told CBS 2′s Hazel Sanchez on Monday night.

Heiman, 34, played “Walter,” a representative of GoDaddy.com’s “smart side,” while super model Bar Refaeli represented the web hosting company’s “sexy side.”

Not everybody was grossed out by the spot.

“Some people think it’s a little gross, but I think it’s beautiful. People are entitled to their opinion, but I think it’s sweet,” one fan  said of the ad.

Heiman and Refaeli locked lips more than 45 times to get the perfect shot.

“They booked me purely on my kissing skills and my good looks,” Heiman said.

Now, the sloppy smooch has everybody talking. Heiman’s name and the commercial are blowing up on social media sites, and the self-proclaimed underdog is brushing off the negativity.

“I’m representing the nerds and the fat guys,” he said, “I’m out there saying, ‘hey you can do this, you can dream big and maybe one day you can kiss a supermodel.’”

The commercial turned out to be a life-changing experience for Heiman. He told CBS 2 that he can’t walk down the street without having someone ask for an autograph or a picture.
