When discussing the Devils’ 3-1 win over the Rangers, Boomer displayed his objective side by praising Martin Brodeur, who once again was brilliant in the net — a recurring theme for his career.
While discussing Brodeur’s brilliance in goal, the guys couldn’t help but harken back to Game 2 of last year’s Eastern Conferencefinals, when Marty made an incredible save that quickly became known as simply ‘the scorpion save’ — thanks to Boomer.
