Police Seek Robbers Who Held Up 3 Hotels Near JFK

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are asking for the public's help in finding two suspects wanted for holding up three hotels near John F. Kennedy International Airport since December.

The first incident happened in broad daylight on Dec. 29 at the Quality Inn on 94th Avenue in Queens; the second happened this past Monday at the Howard Johnson Hotel on Rockaway Boulevard, and the third early on Tuesday morning at the La Quinta Inn & Suites on the Van Wyck Expressway, police said.

In all of the incidents, the robbers walked into the hotels, flashed a handgun, and demanded money from the clerk, police said.

They made off with unspecified sums of money in each incident, as well as an iPad in the earliest robbery, police said.

The suspects fled in a silver Audi all three times.

Police have released surveillance photos of both the suspects and the car.
