NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Madame Tussauds has unveiled four wax figures of the late singer Whitney Houston.

The figures represent the singer in four different stages of her career.

The new wax likenesses will be displayed at Madame Tussauds attractions in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York and Washington, D.C.

Houston’s relatives including her mother Cissy, brother Gary and his wife Pat, attended the unveiling Thursday morning at the Madame Tussauds location in Manhattan.

It was the first time four figures of the same individual have been released at the same time.

Houston, who ruled as pop music’s queen until her majestic voice and regal image were ravaged by drug use, erratic behavior and a tumultuous marriage to singer Bobby Brown, died on Feb. 11, 2012. She was 48.

Houston, a Newark native, died on the eve of the Grammys at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, where she was preparing to attend a pre-Grammy party.

Later in the year, producers of the 54th annual Grammy Awards created a documentary showing how they adapted to the news of Whitney Houston’s death less than 24 hours before the live telecast.
