It’s America’s favorite walk event! When you walk, you help give every baby a healthy start in life. The money you raise supports programs of research, advocacy, community programs and education to help moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies, and it funds research to find answers to why 1 in 9 babies in the U.S. is born too soon. Now in its 44th year, March for Babies was the nation’s first charity walk and has raised an incredible $2.6 billion!
Join WCBS-TV, WLNY-TV and WCBS Radio personalities at the Manhattan Walk! CBS2 Meteorologist and WLNY’s “Live From the Couch” co-host John Elliott will join Newsradio 880 Anchorwoman Pat Farnack to kick-off the Opening Ceremonies.
Registration opens at 8:30 a.m., the morning program starts at 9:00 a.m., and the walk steps off at 10:00a.m. The 3.5-mile walk starts at 65th Street and Broadway and wraps up at 26th Street and Madison Avenue. The Finish Line Festival will feature refreshments and entertainment for the whole family.
