Woman, 19, Found Dead In Lobby Of East Village Building

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A 19-year-old woman was found dead early Saturday in the lobby of a condo building in the East Village.

At 4:59 a.m. Saturday, police were dispatched for a call of an unconscious person inside the building at 125 E. 12th St.

They found Jocelyn Pascucci, of East Meadow, unresponsive at the scene.

Paramedics took Pascucci to Beth Israel Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The cause of Pascucci's death remained unknown Saturday; The New York Post reported that the girl had a heart condition which may have been affected by a night of drinking.

The New York City Medical Examiner's office will conduct an autopsy, the investigation is continuing.
